Department Volunteering

Looking to gain experience in the non-profit industry, museum or office setting? JFG offers a variety of extended volunteer opportunities though support of the different departments.

Department volunteers are expected to commit a designated number of hours to fulfilling their duties for their assigned department. (Hours vary by department.)

  • Visitor Engagement & Education
    Visitor Engagement & Education department volunteers will assist the department coordinator with various responsibilities that involve the docent program, educational outreach (schools). Some tasks assigned to department volunteers include school research, miscellaneous data entry, activity/presentation preparation, craft creation, and more. Familiarity with computers is preferred. Please specify your interest in this position in the notes section of your application. Schedule varies - includes Sundays. This position typically requires a minimum 72 hour commitment.
