Volunteers are vital to the success of the Garden and are an integral part of the education program. Applications are available at the Exhibit House.

Volunteers enable the Japanese Friendship Garden to thrive.
There are many different opportunities available to participate
involving varying degrees of hourly commitment. 

Docent: Leads tours through the garden and is available to answer visitor's questions.

Garden Host: Supervises koi pond area and provides general garden infos (no experience required)

Office Support: Helps with mailing, contacting volunteers, etc.

Landscape, Maintenance: Watering, weeding, etc.

Construction: Staining, bamboo work, fence, building, etc.

Hours: Tuesday~Sunday

AM Shift: 10am-1pm                   PM Shift: 1pm- 4pm
