The Japanese Friendship Garden in Balboa Park is a nonprofit organization dedicated to developing friendship and understanding of the Japanese culture, as well as to promoting the breakdown of racial prejudices and encouraging the appreciation of its differences among the Asian Pacific Americans and other ethnic groups.
