Youth Bonsai Class

Bonsai is a Japanese art using a tiny tree. It is a Japanese traditional culture  you have a chance to learn about cool Japaneses culture. Bonsai is created  beginning with a specimen of source material. This means people cutting an seeding the small tree which is very sensitive. Probably it is difficult to understand goodness of Bonsai but you may be able to feel something.  

Join us and our friends from the San Diego Bonsai Club (SDBC) for an introductory class to bonsai! This class will be lead by visiting bonsai teacher Jason Chan who has studied under bonsai master, David Nguy in Los Angeles. Please note that this class is an introduction to bonsai and is recommended for those between the ages of 10 -15. Junipers and other materials needed will be provided.

Sign ups for the class begin at noon on the day of, immediately outside of the Japanese Friendship Garden entrance. There be no sign ups prior to noon, September 23.
