Our roots have been deeply planted in San Diego since the 1915 Exposition. History has carried us forward to the Japanese Friendship Garden and Museum we know today. In the past 20 years, our members have seen growth from an empty sand lot to the beautiful garden we all have come to enjoy. Now, we are looking forward to the future and invite you to “walk with us as we grow.” The cultural and historical events, exhibits, meaningful friendships made at JFGM are an important part of the rich Japanese heritage in San Diego.
