Yin & Yang Yoga

Yin Yang Yoga restores balance within the body by tending to the divine masculine and feminine energies that reside within each person. The asana practice opens up the energy channels within the body so that the practitioner can cultivate heart centered awareness and nourish the mind body connection. The class will begin with a warm up and then transition into a more active practice requiring muscle engagement and physical body awareness. The second half of the class will explore the subtle body with a yin practice that requires falling into the art of surrender and letting go. The class, from start to finish, endeavors to restore balance between the right and left sides of the body and mind.

Flow Yoga

This dynamic class focuses on mindful movement linked with breath. The class will include Sun Salutations, Standing poses, seated poses, and restorative poses. Appropriate for new students and continuing students. Variations of poses as well as modifications and hands-on adjustments(if desired) will be offered to ensure your practice fits you where your body is today.

Calm Yoga

Tai Chi & Qi Gong

Tai Chi is often described as a beautiful dance with the universe. Come join us in cultivating grace, strength, balance, and flow while forming community. This class teaches Tai Chi and Qigong for health and longevity with a form that's fun and easily modified to suit all ability levels.

Class begins with seated breathwork and traditional Qigong warm-ups to assist energy flow for our Tai Chi practice. Please bring a mat, cushion, or towel to sit on and dress in comfortable layers that won’t hinder light movement.

Vinyasa Restore Yoga

Vinyasa Restore is a blending of two styles. After several minutes of meditative time, allowing students to tap into a deeper sense of internal energy you will gradually build heat through a series of poses connected in a flowing style. Fluid movement and breath, utilyzing a variety of poses in a flowing fashion. Class will allow about 20 minutes at the end to slow down and passively stretch the body in a more restorative style. David is a proficient hands on adjuster allowing for a deeper stretch and relaxation in poses. He uses bells, music, bolsters, essential oils and adjustments to create a class that strengthens the body, relaxes the mind and opens the spirit. All this in the serene natural beauty of the Japanse Friendship Garden next to a waterfall and Koi Pond. Bolsters, blocks and matts can be provided.
