Nihongo-wa dekimasu ka? JFG is launching a new beginner’s language course for adults with an intense love or curiosity of Japanese culture. The class is designed and led by JFG volunteers from Japan and focuses on basic Japanese conversation in a variety of contexts. Each week the teacher will discuss selected themes at length to delve deeper into different facets of Japanese culture. Students with zero to limited prior knowledge of Japanese are greatly welcome! Come have fun on a one-time or recurring basis. Walk-ins are welcome. RSVPs are appreciated. Light snacks are included.  Inquiries for JFG's Japanese language class can be e-mailed to programs@niwa.org

Our programs are partly funded by the City of San Diego Commission of Arts and Culture. Additional dates TBA. For more information on the Japanese Friendship Garden, click here.
