Shichi-Go-San (Seven-Five-Three) is traditionally observed on November 15 in Japan. Girls who are three and seven years old and boys who are three and five are dressed in their finest clothes and brought to the nearby shrines in order to pray for healthy growth and good health.
Join us at the Japanese Friendship Garden to celebrate Shichi-Go-San! Children will be able to be dressed in traditional kimonos and photographed in our beautiful garden. Reservations are required and are available on a first come, first served basis.

Your child (family) will have approximately an hour to change, dress up and photograph. Approximately 15 pictures will be sent with in the data file.
Fee includes admission and photo shoot in the Garden. (Kimono rental is not included. Contact Yuko Niwa directly for rates and fees.) Please also note that the Garden is not a professional photography studio, however, we will have experienced volunteer photographers for this event.
Come wearing a V-neck T-shirt, shorts or leggings. Shichigosan kimono and juban will be put on top of your T-shirt.
CANCELLATIONS within 7 days of appointment will not be refunded.
