Vinyasa Restore is a blending of two styles. After several minutes of meditative time, allowing students to tap into a deeper sense of internal energy you will gradually build heat through a series of poses connected in a flowing style. Fluid movement and breath, utilizing a variety of poses in a flowing fashion. Class will allow about 20 minutes at the end to slow down and passively stretch the body in a more restorative style. David is a proficient hands on adjuster allowing for a deeper stretch and relaxation in poses. He uses bells, music, bolsters, essential oils and adjustments to create a class that strengthens the body, relaxes the mind and opens the spirit. All this in the serene natural beauty of the Japanese Friendship Garden next to a waterfall and Koi Pond. Bolsters, blocks and mats can be provided.

Meet the Instructor: David Miranda
David is certified in Vinyasa Yoga, Hot Yoga, Yoga Sculpt and is registered with Yoga Alliance. He has practiced yoga since his teenage years. Poses and breathe work have been a source of mental and physical comfort for him in life. He teaches his students to breath, build physical strength and how to increase/maintain flexibility. Additionally, he has taught a free class at the LGBTQ center for many years, providing a great deal of experience working with seniors, beginners, and folks with limited mobility. He can also be found regularly teaching a Vinyasa or Flowing Yoga style class at Parfait Yoga and Sojourn Healing Collective, where he works with yogis of all levels. Once a dancer and performer, David tends to incorporate a very dance like feel to his classes using music, props, and natural/essential oils.
