In these Breath Fitness classes, participants will learn the science behind how breathwork can create immediate changes in their physiology. You will learn techniques to clear your sinuses, how to breathe effectively throughout the day, how to enter deep meditation, and how to improve your sleep. We will explore how breathwork can help manage stress and anxiety, and how it can have an immediate impact on fitness performance. You will be guided through the latest mind-altering techniques, and we will also touch on ancient Japanese breathwork practices. You will learn how to control and enhance your stress levels, mood, athletic performance, and immune system.

The class will review:
- Discussion and Science
- Breathing Mechanics
- Guided Breathwork

Participants will need a yoga mat and a sweatshirt or pillow for their head.

Miles Lukas is a Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Dave Camarillo with over 20 years of experience and a certified level 2 Wim Hof Method Instructor. He has had unprecedented opportunities to learn directly from many masters, including Roger Gracie, Marcelo Garcia, and Rickson Gracie. His experience includes climbing Mount Hood in Oregon with Wim Hof, bare-chested, in only shorts, using breathing techniques to mitigate the elements. He specializes in applying breathwork to temperature control, health, anxiety, mental fortitude, martial arts, and fitness.
