Art, Peace and Story

 Join Annie Macpherson, children’s book writer and illustrator, in an expressive art class with meditation for adults. In this course, the guest will use meditation and various expressive arts practices to uncover their purpose so that they may persevere during times of difficulty, transition, and change. Embark on a joyfully expressive adventure to discover your clear intuition.

Annie Macpherson has been teaching art for 15 years. She has written and self-published two children’s books: The Golden Fish and Zen Bunny. Her next book, An Open Heart Chant Book is nearly complete with her own illustrations and 15 original songs she composed. She has two award-winning films: "The Golden Fish Project" and "Return of the Myth of the Golden Fish", which was filmed at the Japanese Friendship Garden. As an international speaker, she uses the power of art and story to teach peace. Annie is currently a Master’s student at the Expressive Arts Institute of San Diego, studying Expressive Arts Therapy.
