Journeying Japan
When we think of Japan, iconic destinations like Tokyo, Kyoto or Osaka come to mind. However, Japan is a vast island with 47 prefectures that each have their own history, traditions and character. Journeying Japan invites guests to explore this diversity right here at JFGM.
We will have an information booth where guests can learn about a prefecture and enjoy doing some origami. For those seeking a deeper experience, we will conduct craft or cooking workshops inspired by the prefecture's local folklore, culture and beliefs.
Through Journeying Japan, we hope guests gain a deeper appreciation for Japan's regional cultures and perhaps feel inspired to explore them on a future trip to Japan.
The prefecture for the month of April is Hokkaido!
