Onyoku sessions
The Japanese Friendship Garden & Museum presents Onyoku Sessions, featuring local musical talent. 音浴 Onyoku means bath in the sound. We are inviting the artist to create a melody or play a song from their collection that embodies a specific space or scene found in the garden. Guests will enjoy the musician's interpretation of visual information transformed into audio. Studies suggest that specific sounds have gentle healing properties and can improve cognitive function, reduce stress, and enhance mood.
