景色 (Keshiki) - Light, Air, Fluctuation

  • Japanese Friendship Garden Society of San Diego 2215 Pan American Road E San Diego (map)

Emerging artist Yoichi Nakama from Kyoto, Japan will be the next exhibitor at JFG's Exhibit Hall. During his painting process, Nakama employs elements of abstraction and moves away from objective representations. Nakama chooses to express his feeling about the beauty of nature, the phenomenon of light, and atmospheric changes as it occurs within Kyoto - during the process, the canvas itself is transformed into an object of nature.
