What kind of programs do you have? We have a variety of programs from cultural to wellness, and sustainability.

How do I sign up for a program? Click on the desired link on the programs page, followed by the register button.

How much is a program? Prices are listed on each Program webpage. Most programs have a non-member and JFGM member price.

How do I get the membership price? Sign up through our membership webpage to receive discounts and exclusive offers at the garden.

Is admission included in the program? This varies. Please check on the desired program webpage for information.

Do you take walk-ins? No. Unless stated otherwise, all programs require prior registration as most sell out with a waitlist.

I have someone who just wants to listen or work on the same project as me. Do they need to pay too? Yes. Prorated pricing is unavailable.

Where do I check in for my program? Please refer to both the program webpage and acknowledgement email for further instructions as locations vary throughout the garden. Most programs before 10am will check in at the employee back gate, located behind the organ pavilion. For early morning programs, a staff member will wait 10 minutes past the start time. Please note, coming more than 10 minutes may result in losing access to the program.

I received my receipt email, but no ticket or acknowledgement email. How do I receive that? Please make sure to check your spam and promotion folder. If you do not see it yet, try typing in “JFG Receipts.” Be sure to open up the email which will include a blue link to the e-tickets.

I tried purchasing two tickets, but got an error. Why? If a program is not allowing you to purchase more than the desired quantity, that means you have the remaining inventory. If you’re unsure if there’s enough spots available, please call 619-232-2721 ext 1511.

What’s your refund policy? Most programs will allow a refund or credit until 7 days before the scheduled program or event, minus an $5 admin fee. Please make sure to read the policy on each page as some refunds may not be available after purchase. Refunds for any reason 7 days before the program will not be accepted.

I’m running late for my program. Can I get either a credit or partial refund? No. It is the responsibility of each registrant to arrive on time. Due to city wide and/or Balboa Park related events, access into Balboa Park may be difficult. Please give yourself enough time for potential traffic and parking within Balboa Park. JFGM is not responsible for late arrivals or no shows. Refunds and credits will not be accepted for this reason.

My group wants to reserve a private program. Is this possible? Yes! Our programs are perfect for parties, get-togethers and corporate team builders. To find our more, email our Education and Programs Coordinator at education@niwa.org.
